Sadik partners GTCF

A former Davis Cup member, Sadik Abdullahi
has joined the partnership train of the Greater
Tomorrow Children Foundation, a charity-
based organisation formed by former Eagles
midfielder Paul Okoku.
Speaking on his resolve to help promote the
ideals and objectives of the foundation,
Abdullahi, who recently returned to Nigeria
from the United States of America, where he
had stayed after his illustrious tennis career,
said that he was moved to partner with Okoku
because of the need to touch the lives of less-
privileged children in the society.
“I am happy to disclose that I am going to be
partnering with the Greater Tomorrow Children
Foundation to help the less-privileged ones,
especially children in our society. I am going
to make myself available at the functions of
the foundation and also make sure that
corporate Nigeria gives us the support we
need to help those in dire need of help.
“I am in the process of registering my tennis
foundation and when that is done, we will
collaborate with Greater Tomorrow foundation
to ensure that kids with interest to play tennis
get the best training and grooming to excel in
this beloved sport”, added Abdullahi.
While describing Okoku as person with a kind
heart, Abdullahi said that the GTCF  “is a
worthy cause to partner with and I enjoin all
Nigerians to support this foundation so that it
can meet the needs of less-privileged
Nigerians”.
The former tennis star said that he was
bringing credibility to the table, noting that
“by partnering with Okoku, I am making a
strong statement that we ex-internationals
have so much to offer back to the society that
made us and we cannot relent until we torch
the lives of ordinary Nigerians”.
