Gov. Orji commiserates with victims of gen set fumes tragedy via @iKanzee_RR

UMUAHIA — ABIA State governor, Chief
Theodore Orji, has sympathised with members
of the Young Peoples Christian Fellowship
involved in generator fumes incident which left
a six-year-old boy dead.
The incident occurred at 8, Eziukwu Road, Aba,
Friday night during a prayer vigil by some
people from Ututu in Arochukwu Local
Government Area of the state.
Governor Orji, in a statement by his Chief
Press Secretary, Mr. Charles Ajunwa, said he
received the sad news with shock, adding that
he had been praying for their quick recovery.
Orji, who is currently on overseas trip, had
directed his deputy to visit the place and
hospitals where the victims are receiving
treatment.
He commended the prompt treatment given to
victims to save their lives by some good
samaritans, including medical personnel, and
enjoined the people to continue to be their
brother’s keeper.
